SURABAYA - PT. Duta Cipta Pakarperkasa (DCP), a steel industry company has increased its production capacity by investing in a steel plate working. Roll plate machine and Manipulator Welding maching have arrived in DCP Plant Area.

DCP's Roll plate can work on plate with thickness up to 25 millimeters, with length up to 3.1 meters. This machine have been operating since Juli 2009. Another roll plate machine work on thicker plate up to 65 millimeters.

Rolled plate from previous machine is sent to a manipulator welding machine. DCP's manipulator welding is able to create a rolled plate with diameter up to 4 (four) meters.

Rolled plate is used in the making of Oil Tank, Liquid Chemical Tank, Pressure Vessel for industry need. Beside that, rolled plate can be used in the making of Wind Turbine. Wind turbine is a component of wind-powered power generator.

This facility is a realization of DCP's commitment to supply domestic demand on steel construction and to support DCP Go Green Movement to construct a eco-friendly energy source. (snw)
