PT. Dutacipta Pakarperkasa (DCP) as the steel manufacturer Indonesia, trusted by KAWAHAPEJAYA consortium to work on the steel roof truss from the design, fabrication to installation for the expansion of the International Airport Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal 3 Ultimate or Soekarno Hatta International Airport (SHIA) T3 Ultimate. SHIA is the largest airport and the main Indonesia that require expansion of capacity. Administratively, the airport is located in the city of Tangerang, Banten. This service is actually only about 20 kilometers from the capital, Jakarta.
Stage design is finished by DCP from the design structural analysis using SAP2000® program, followed by 3D modeling using TEKLA® program and conducted a series of tests, one of which is wind tunnel tests conducted in Melbourne Australia, wind tunnel test is very important in an intricate design to determine whether the design has been made easy to apply, especially in terms of wind pressure that leads to the steel roof truss structure. The wind speed is exhaled during the test, which is 32.1 m / s and a part of the Ultimate T3 SHIA design tested include: T3 International Airport Terminal, Parking Complex and VVIP Building. The results of wind tunnel test is that pressure that occurs in the main building Soekarno Hatta International Airport ranged between +0.9 kPa to -1.3 kPa, pressure that occurs in the parking area ranged between +0.9 kPa to -0.7 kPa and pressures that occur in buildings ranging VVIP between +0.7 kPa to -0.6 kPa.
